1. Who we are

Slim Automation ("we", "us", "our") provides workflow automation, AI agent, and system integration consulting services. We currently trade as an individual/sole trader operating under the name Slim Automation. 2. Our services

We offer a free initial audit, followed by the design, build, and delivery of custom automations, integrations, and AI agents tailored to your business. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for any paid engagement are agreed in writing (email is sufficient) before work begins.

3. Engagement and payment

• Projects are quoted at a flat rate agreed before work starts — we do not bill open-ended retainers unless explicitly agreed with you in advance.
• Invoices are payable within the terms stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to pause work on overdue accounts.
• Most projects are scoped to take two to four weeks from kickoff to a working system, though this varies with complexity and how quickly you can provide access to your tools.

4. Your responsibilities

To deliver the agreed automation, we typically need timely access to relevant accounts and tools (for example your CRM, spreadsheets, or automation platform). Delays in providing access or feedback may extend the project timeline correspondingly.

5. Intellectual property

Once a project is paid in full, you own the specific automation, workflow, or integration built for you. We retain ownership of our own general methodology, reusable components, and any pre-existing tools or templates used to deliver the work, and may reuse non-client-specific components on future projects.

6. Confidentiality

We treat information you share with us about your business as confidential, and use it only to deliver the agreed services. We expect the same in relation to any non-public information we share with you about our own methods or pricing.

7. Third-party tools

Our automations typically connect to third-party platforms you already use or choose to adopt (for example HubSpot, Airtable, Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Zapier, Make, or n8n). We are not responsible for outages, pricing changes, or policy changes made by those third parties, though we will work with you to adapt where reasonably possible.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

9. Termination

Either party may end an engagement with reasonable written notice. You remain liable for fees for work completed up to the point of termination.

10. Use of this website

The content on this website is provided for general information about our services. You may not copy, resell, or misrepresent this content as your own. We aim to keep this site accurate but do not guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted at all times.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of your engagement applies to that engagement.
