1. Who we are

This policy explains how Slim Automation ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data collected through this website. We currently trade as an individual/sole trader operating under the name Slim Automation. 2. What we collect

We only collect personal data you choose to give us. Through the contact form on this site, that's: your name, email address, company name, company website, an optional phone number, and whatever you write in the message field.

If you click "Book a Free Audit," you leave this website and land on Google Calendar's own booking page, which is operated by Google under its own privacy policy — we don't control what Google collects there.

3. What we don't do

  • We don't use cookies, analytics scripts, or any visitor-tracking technology on this website.
  • We don't sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
  • We don't store contact form submissions in a database — see "How we store it" below.

4. Why we collect it

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to scope and deliver the agreed work. Our legal basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interest (responding to enquiries you've initiated) and, where an engagement follows, performance of a contract.

5. How we store it

When you submit the contact form, your details are sent as an email to our inbox via Resend, our email delivery provider — they process the submission only to deliver that one email and do not retain it afterwards on our behalf. We don't run a separate database of form submissions; the email itself, kept in our normal inbox, is the only record.

6. Other service providers

This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard web server logs (such as IP address and request timing) as part of running the hosting infrastructure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com), which may log the IP address of anyone whose browser requests them, under Google's own privacy policy.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you or deliver an agreed engagement, and delete them when there's no ongoing reason to retain them.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Ask us to delete your data
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your data
  • Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you think we've handled your data incorrectly
